A large military passenger jet arrives at the Bannerfall international airport Several soldiers exit the plane, and escort out Toji Hukira.
Toji Hukira is not old, but not young as well. He has seen better days. He walked around with a cane, and wore spectacles
He approached the limousine and entered with his translator
"Hello, and thank you for having me." he says "I this visit can solve both of our problems"

I am Lady Valentine wife of Lord Victor Craux. If you will please follow me we can be on our way. I hope you'll find the diplomatic home we're meeting in to be of your taste. A Jesian immigrant was the one who designed it. He actually got permission from Victor to build it in the district.

Only Lord Akira can have that title, call me Toji or Sir if it pleases you" Toji looks around the home "Ah, I can see the inspiration behind this build" He points to a decorative pattern on the wall "My fellow countryman even put the Imperial Seal on it. Each household has one of the seals. We pray in the direction to the imperial palace. The wall with the seal is always the direction to the palace" He turns to Lady Valentine "When shall we begin our talks?"

"First thing on the agenda, what exactly is your purpose for declaring war on Shreminov?"

"First thing on the agenda, what exactly is your purpose for declaring war on Shreminov?" "Well.... with our new partner in the north, Adersi... needed extra security. With the civil war ending in Shreminov, they post a threat to our ally and us. We expected the civil war to go on, but due to unforeseen consequences we had to act now. The socialists pose a threat to Jesia. If you heard the recent speech in Shreminov.... they are against the Jesian way of life." Toji sips a cup of tea "As for another reason, we need war in Jesia. Currently our power structure has 3 systems. The Priests, the Zaibatsu known as Mega-Corporations in your language, and the military. Even though on the outside we may seem united under the Emperor, there is a very delicate balance of power in Jesia. We need this war for stability at home, so the priests and zaibatsu don't get any funny ideas. A victory will put the power of the military even higher than before. Trust me, you do not want them in charge of Jesia. One of them would destroy entire nations for profit and another would declare endless wars until the last man standing. It's in your best interests to help... the Jesian military from preventing this..."

Adersi is a relatively small and peaceful nation who doesn't have any enemies. Now as for your second reason why not just simply do a coup? I highly doubt a bunch of priests could take over a nation. The Zaibatsu, who's to say they would even take over, they're not all powerful. Plus I doubt the other nations in Novus Lucidum would allow them to rule if they would destroy nations for profit. Besides there's more profit to be made in international trade than in wars. Trades can be for lifetimes, wars don't last forever I'm sure they understand that. Besides this war now seems like an unprovoked preemptive strike. Although I don't like them attacking your way of life I don't feel confident in picking your side if there's this much potential power struggles in your nation. Besides as you know Shreminov's allied with Anacodia and Scalesburg. Two very powerful nations respectively. If Shreminov was on its own we would have more confidence in this war. Even if it was just Anacodia as their ally we would feel confident. However, Scalesburg is another issue entirely and could easily wipe us out."

The Priests are not simply just priests like your foreign bishops. They are basically the force behind the culture and beliefs of Jesia. They are the ones closest to the Emperor, and they will send people to their death. You thought Jesians were radical now? Wait until they hear a direct order from the Emperor. Not even my most well disciplined men would deny such orders. The Zaibatsu may seem friendly at first, but they are simply cruel. They will open factories in your country and poison your waters. They will cut every tree and enslave every man woman and child. They will do this by so called peaceful means. They are anti-war, only because war isn't profitable. Exploitation is. Would you rather be at war... or be exploited?" He takes another sip of his tea "During war, our nation has high unity, because of the Emperor. If it were any other nation, it would have collapsed long ago. But the Emperor holds us together. The Emperor is the driving force behind all this, even when he doesn't say a word....." He stands up and looks out to the window "Your nation is beautiful... you can see the stars and moon at night. Unlike Jesia.... we can only see the sun in Jesia" He turns around "You should attack the Anacodians, Scalesburg will be preoccupied... trust me. Even if you don't join, they will betray you. You're in the middle of two socialist giants. Its inevitable."

Ah so they do have power, but then just how powerful is your Emperor? I'm not trying to insult him but just how much independency does he have from his advisors? If he just willingly sends people to their deaths just cause of a few priests then there's something wrong in the royal court. Again now you're making assumptions of the Zaibatsu. All corporations who wish to open up a factory, refinery, or any industrial building must be approved by my advisors and then again approved by me before opening so the Zaibatsu are no threat to me or Straona as we don't allow corporations or anyone in so easily they have to pass inspection. Anything outside of Straona that comes in whether goods, people, or groups must pass some sort of inspection before coming in.

Toji pauses He requests the translator to exist the room and looks around He then approaches Victor Craux and closely whispers in his ear "Emperor.... no power........ Jesia....in danger.....need foreigner help...... they will kill you....." Toji asks the translator to enter the room "If the priests declare a holy war, a war officially "endorsed" by the Emperor, every Jesian around the world will draw up arms and attack our enemies. We are preventing this in the army."

"I see. Hmm after carefully thinking it over I do not believe it is the best course of action to take a side in this war. The primary factor being Scalesburg and Anacodia. They are far too close and could destroy us in an instant. However, I don't want you to return home empty handed. So I will offer you this." Proceeds to hand Toji a note with a phone number on it. "Call this number, this is the number of an independent militia of foreigners from several nations in the region. They have no ties to any nation so with the right price they will help. Actually they already agreed to help as their leader is a former Jesian soldier. Hell most members of the group according to my spies are Jesians. I called earlier to ask how he reacted to this war and told him of the meeting. He said to tell Toji he would help. That's the best I can give you as you get your help from an independent but well organized and dangerous militia and I can keep my nation out of this war."
