Topic of meeting: Shreminov Civil War
Persons of Interest: Lord Victor Kraux (Trac-S) (leader of Straona and the Council), Lady Maria Valentine (Kraux's wife and head diplomat), General Gregory Fredrikov (leader of the Straonan military and minister of War), Lord Zachary Blanche (Minister of Intelligence)
Fredrikov: Where are the others Victor? You asked us all to be here?
Kraux: They had issues to deal with so this is all that's coming.
Blanche: More than enough, so what's the issue?
Kraux: Shreminov is going through a full blown civil war and we need to figure out which side seems the most worth siding with.
Maria: Agreed, although there's one side we should rule out from the start.
All: THE REDS.
Kraux: Okay so we're all in agreement that we're not supporting the Leninists. Onto the other three.
Blanche: We shouldn't support the Jihadists.
Fredrikov: Why exactly?
Kraux: We don't know anything about them, all we know is that they're religious fanatics and we don't even know how organized they are.
Fredrikov: What about the Liberals? They claim to be the only true democracy out of the three.
Kraux: We're not an outright democracy. We're Centrist remember? Besides they are the most disorganized out of the four and are already losing territory. That and their officers and nobles are corrupt. Unless they can remove their corruption and nobles and organize their army we won't work with them.
Maria: So the Junta then?
Kraux: I don't like the idea of martial rule but the other sides either are too disorganized, corrupt, an unknown variable, or Reds.
Blanche: Should I send a transmission to the Junta?
Kraux: Yes send one to them offering our aid.
2 weeks later:
Kraux: well that blew up in our faces, did they not get the message?
Blanche: Nope, either they deleted the message or it never reached them in time. Luckily we didn't mobilize the troops so for now I'd just focus on building up our borders and potentially expanding in the near future due to the amount of immigrants coming.
Kraux: Good idea, there's this river to the west that could be good strategically.
